Useful Information

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website, hopefully you will find all of the information that you need, however if you do require any further information then please do not hesitate to contact us where we will be happy to assist you.
The need for care can arise for different reasons. You may find yourself requiring temporary care in order to help you get over an illness, operation or accident, or it may be that you require permanent care as a result of a disability, illness, or frailty in old age.
Whatever the reason it is important to obtain a professional assessment of your needs.
If appropriate, we will contact your local social services department on your behalf. They have a duty to assess the care needs of anyone that has been identified as needing community care services. There is no charge for an assessment from the council, and it will allow you to determine if they can provide any of the services you require.

Direct Payments

Instead of asking for a contribution towards the cost of care services, the council may offer Direct Payments.
Direct Payments are an amount of money the council have assessed you as needing to enable you to buy in the services you require yourself.

Paying for Care Privately

If you do not qualify for local council support it may be necessary to purchase the care you need privately through a company, such as ourselves.
Companies providing care should be registered with the Quality Care Commission, also known as CQC, who carry out inspections to ensure the care being delivered is up to standard.
The cost of employing a home care agency will depend on the type and amount of care you need.
